On Wednesday 18th of January 2017, The Smiles on numerous faces of close to 150 students of Holy Spirit Catholic High school, Modakeke, Ile-Ife during the Career talk seminar and skill acquisition training tagged “What I do” project.The Theme “What I do” was culled from the mission of the organization – To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.


The Career Talk was delivered with great enthusiasm by our Guest Speaker Mr. Ogunbowale Olugbenga (An associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society). There was a feedback session at the end of the Career talk where the students asked questions, expressed their feelings about the talk coupled with some brief expression about what the participants learnt during the talk.

The Skill acquisition trainings were handled by professionals in the aforementioned areas with the use of various materials for illustration. Students were trained in Bead Making, Tie and Dye and 21st Century Robotics training. Souvenirs consisting of writing materials and stickers were given to all the Participants of the project.

The Entire School management showed their deep sense of gratitude and appreciation to the organization for executing such in their project. At a time when Skill sets are not vital for every citizen in the Society.  Appreciation goes to Mr. Ogunbowale Olugbenga, JCIN OAU President Temitope Ojo, Vice President Oyindamola Olaoye, Doyin Adeolu, George Shittu, Titilolami Animashaun, Mayowa Alabi, Ayodeji Apampa and all committee members who were involved in the planning, implementation of the project. Entire staff of Holy Spirit Catholic High school, Modakeke, Ile-Ife, to our trainers who gave their full commitment to the training the Entire I LAB (Robotics) team, a fellow jaycees Mr. Ayobami Adeolu (Tie and Dye tutor), Miss Olayemi (Beads tutor) ,Mr. Tosin (CEO footprints designs), Our donators and sponsors, the entire Educate-a-Child team, the entire members of JCIN OAU (The Golden LO) and all who contributed to the fulfillment of the project.
